#Remotion with offthreadvideo rendering performance

Hello, i'm trying to use remotion to stitch couple videos together and i'm experiencing really slow render times

Regarding the videos, i'm using 3 clips shot on IPhone 12 in resolution 1920x1440. These clips are in total roughly 60MB and 27s long. They have .MOV file extension
I'm using Macbook 16pro M2 to render the video with remotion and it takes roughly 10minutes
That seems like a really long render time to me, especially considering that the final video is only 27s long

Is this normal? I'm using OffthreadVideo and Sequence to render the composition
Any tips for optimalizing render times for this type of clips?

Is there any section in docs about rendering speed optimisation? Or how can i find out more about this?

if you use a docker container that will be costly but will yield greater results. There you'll have to figure out on your own what specs you'd like to have with your container

I will add that while GPU can help with effects that benefit from GPU acceleration, it doesn't do much for OffthreadVideo, at least in our experience. There was a small improvement in performance, but nothing near worth the cost increase for the GPU usage (in the cloud).
