There seems to be a disconnect between old and new gen stores.
Until a fix is announced, try and buy RC through the xbox store, not the game store.
Don't stress, when D11 fixes the problem, your balance will return to normal.
Sorry there isn't a better answer, but it hasn't been addressed yet.

Oh okay thank you just happened to me I had 990rc on both old gen and new gen went to go buy the 35$ rc deal and bought some skin on new gen and wanted some on old gen and some how it was at -880
