Hello Double Eleven team,
I’m writing as a PlayStation player who purchased the Deluxe (or Ultimate) Edition of Rust Console Edition with the understanding that it would include a free upgrade to the PS5 version and 7-day early access starting on June 19.
However, just one day before early access was supposed to begin, I learned that PlayStation users will now only receive access on June 26, due to platform limitations. This sudden change is extremely disappointing, especially since it was communicated at the last minute and after many players (like myself) made purchasing decisions based on the original promise.
I understand these issues may be out of your full control, but I feel that PlayStation users are being unfairly excluded from something that was advertised equally across platforms.
I appreciate the 500 Rust Coins compensation you’re offering — but I’d like to kindly ask:
If there’s any way for Deluxe/Ultimate PS5 users to still receive early access.
Or, if not, could a larger or more meaningful compensation be offered to make up for the missed content and access time?
I genuinely enjoy Rust and was excited for this next-gen experience. I just hope all players can be treated fairly, no matter the platform.
