Better graphics would be very good for new gen players and theirs 5% of the people that play rust are old gen doesn’t make sense to base the game just around them 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

RCE only came out <t:1621209600:R>. A new version of the game would have a lot of hurdles:

  • Splits developers across both builds
  • Splits the player-base
  • Doubles dev time and cost
    Don't expect a current-gen version any time soon if ever.

So idk how the whole process works but why couldn’t the game just be for all players old gen and new gen

I know old gen players are limited to better graphics

But I guess a large company is worried abt doubling time
