Honestly if you genuinely think the old sounds are better you are blinded by nostalgia, the new sounds sound better for the guns and just feel nicer, console is supposed to turn into pc rust eventually or be somewhat like it so if you don’t like pc rust updates you probably won’t like what’s coming

If you think no one wanted the new gun sounds you should go through the old posts on tellthedevs and tell that to the at least hundreds of people posting they want new gun sounds. I personally don't care about the gun sounds as I'm half deaf anyway 🤷
