Change the game engine to something other than Unity - your not going to make this game any fun with it and keep Old Gen up using it.

I don't expect anyone in the D11 Team to actually talk to the Lead Developer or Manager to push for a engine change so late in development but it's shown that well over a year later it's still the same buggy mess as it was during beta and launch (still looks like it came off the PS2).

I also don't expect the community to understand anything in game development like of what a Game Engine is but here's the simple terms;
Unity is a engine that relies on memory and good coding skills to make a excellent game.
Unreal Engine is also another alternative that could do wonders while it also has a great optimization settings with little user and coding to make it work universally (per platform).

What could this simple change do?
The game could run on Old Gen (possible stable 60fps depending on the quality of coding and game features needed)
The game would probably be less buggy and possible have smoother updates and not look like a PS2 Era title (you know its true).
Better and bigger maps so we can stop playing neighbor and playing paddy-cake every afternoon.

What is the downsides?
The team would need to remake the game from scratch unless the chosen engine could run most (if half) of the made content but it may need modified to run.
The cost to use the engine as royalties to make a commercial product depends on your games popularity and income (as a company for product).
Time to learn or convert the game.

Most Positive Change if it happens
The game could potentially be a lot more fun and potentially become more mainstream than a buggy mess.

Most Negative Change if it happens
The time and cost to get it swapped may be significant.

This was my long ted talk that will probably be deleted or ignored, and thanks for reading my useless post.

PC rust is made with Unity and i'd say it's pretty fun
