I've had this issue too usually when I initially create a provider/application. Make sure the application is selected in ur outpost and give it some time. It may require an authentik server restart for the changes to take. Are you use a proxy or forward auth provider ?

Yeah that was the issue. I actually got it to work by selecting the user in the outpost
