Gifting my friends 🌹

i’d love to be able to gift my friends a rose (or any plant) that they can display on their garden, but to prevent exploiting this make it so they can’t sell it for money, they can pot it or sell it for 0 if they don’t want it anymore

also they’d have to accept the gift, obviously don’t let someone fava bean bomb my garden

it’d also be lovely if the plant said who it came from if you stand over it where it usually displays the name

make gifted plants/crops get a mutation that is called gift which adds a 0 multiplier to your crop
because X * 0 = 0

also i am super forgetful thats why i suggested putting the persons username who gifted the pot - however i can see how that’d be an issue with weird names or something maybe, having to have it update someone’s username or keep the name they had when they gifted it idk, the name part isn’t necessarily needed, it’d just be nice if multiple ppl gifted the same rose/plant so you don’t forget

Multi harvest crops like pods would be difficult because the mutation would have to be applied to every new fruit that grows (in fear off a potential exploit). Bumppp

Like if you harvest the crop (to get a new one growing) and then idk pot it or smth maybe you can prevent the "gift" mutation to go on your plant

what if we made it a pure decoration, so not harvestable. not pottable. just pick it up like a decoration?

so it cannot be altered or harvested in any way

it comes as it is

the only way to remove it is pick it up, or shovel it
