Pet XP bar broken

Pets that are not fully grown should have an XP progress bar. Mine shows as full for my pets and hasn't moved since the update dropped. Hovering over XP bar also provides no tooltip.

Reproduced on both browser and discord versions of the game.

I effectively cannot tell if my pets are even gaining XP at this point

Lmao, that's crazy. My laptop is equipped with a touchscreen but I don't use it as such. I keep it closed in clamshell mode connected to multiple monitors on my desk, haha.

Any chance this will be reverted? Tooltips were working fine for me before via cursor hover

We'll look into this! Should be able to get tooltips appearing for you automatically on hover

but glad you can see them by tapping - i think both of your pets are really close to lvling up haha

I have not tried tapping. Let me open my laptop and test it and report back.

Negative - tapping on touchscreen laptop does NOT bring up XP tooltip either

I feel like I'm logging bugs in gitlab or JIRA haha 😅

It's been almost 2 hours since I started this post, XP bar has not moved. I think it's definitely a bug

I think that one might be due to how the xp bar is calculated for display now

Not a bug, but an undesirable UI change imo

I.e. it quickly stops being useful past +9 strength 😭

oh wow, you're saying the XP bar shows TOTAL XP of pet (all levels) instead of just the current level from 72 to 73 like the picture suggests?

Yep, used to show only the current level iirc but now it's total xp 😭

Wow, so it will be permanently full blue bar from now until MAX strength. I wonder if that was intended?

The funny thing is I cannot see tooltip popups either after the update, so I have no idea about the XP

This is a clear example of being 75% to 68 str at lvl1.5 which should have been 50% to 68😭

I find myself unable to see any tooltip when I try accessing them from the inventory

Worked fine if I have the pet active and click on them from the for whatever reason though

My turtle just leveled up to 91 - bar is the same. You're right

So they are still gaining XP, even if I have no visual indicators available to me now 😅

It's the same on my macbook in clamshell mode with monitor, solid blue.

Could we also possibly get the mini Blue bar back on the pet sidebar? I enjoyed watched my pets experience stagger when I wait for restocks and I use the XP boost pets a lot and track it
