Did you open the actual project sln?
yes
what do you mean
i dont know what else i could open
just got this now
Visual C++ found a suitable location to store its browsing database and IntelliSense files for the solution "C:\Users\Viar\Documents\Unreal Projects\Ricochet.vs\Ricochet\v16\Browse.VC.db."
Visual C++ examined the folder "C:\Users\Viar\Documents\Unreal Projects\Ricochet.vs\Ricochet\v16." This folder is not suitable because of the following:
The browsing database in this directory is open by another instance of Visual Studio and cannot be reopened. User Viar on DESKTOP-5M10BBR has it open.
Because a 'Fallback Location' was not specified in the C++ Advanced Options, Visual C++ is attempting to use your temporary directory.
Visual C++ examined the folder "C:\Users\Viar\AppData\Local\Temp\VC++\BROWSE.VC-ecfc3943." This folder is suitable because of the following:
The directory is on a local drive.
The 'Fallback Location' is configurable under C++ Advanced Options.
Press OK to use this location.
Press Cancel to disable C++ browsing information and IntelliSense for this session.
but im still getting not found issue in my solution explorer
The project file 'C:\User\Viar\Documents\UnrealProjects\Ricochet\Intermediate\ProjectFiles\Ricochet.vcproj' has been moved, renamed or is not on your computer.
never mind im stupid
im just a big dum dum
not sure i want to explain the solution cause of how much of a big dum dum it will make me seem
so you know how youre supposed to right click your project and select generate visual studio project files when you want to generate visual studio project files?
well i might have skipped over that part and just went straight to reconstructing the missing project files by opening the editor
so like yeah
big dum dum
Lol that'll do it. Got it sorted?
checking now
but im pretty sure that was it lmao
yup
that was it hahaha
im actually dying over here
thats what happens when you take a break from programming for a week i guess
Lol glad you got it sorted. Going to mark this as resolved
