so heres a video of what i did that seemed to fail, it gave me an error and to try running with something but im just unaware as to how i can do that.

i tried again with a new jdk thing and still failed for the same reason, i have no clue what else to do. ive now started trying without the edited text in multiple skytils versions and theyre all failing. after searching this discord i found a tutorial for building sba beta and when i follow its instruction i still fail, even on the sba build. (that fails because its missing some gradle settings thing, im not sure if i did anything wrong but i dont think so)

My java versions are jdk8u332-b09, jdk-18.0.1.1, jre1.8.0_291.

well, it just worked now. im very, very confused as to what changed, but alas.
