It isnt required in any way, but if you arent good at secrets, you should get it to learn secrets

Well if you use Dungeons Guide, you'll probably never disable it or learn any secrets

Cause you require some brain power?

Since 99.999% of people use dungeons guide for the path find

But like if you have the will power to not use it
