there are a couple that only protect based on a criteria

like if the item is starred or above x value

if you want slot locking for any item, i recommend neu (or sba but neu's one is a lot better)

if all of those features are off, then turn on "fetch lowest bin"

then search "protect" again and turn off anything that is still on
