Hey all!
Today we're publishing the first Beta of the next release of Essential. With this update, we've made improvements to the some of our most used features, further increased compatibility with other mods, and fixed some bugs.
Starting out with the Cosmetic Studio and Cosmetics overall
- We've added the option to store and swap between different outfits. Please note these may not sync correctly with users who are not on the beta but should work correctly for everyone on the beta.
- Cosmetic position adjustments are now available for select items in order to more closely match your skin.
- Significantly improved cosmetic on cosmetic handling overlap handling and with armor
- Created a hot key (and visual indicator now) to quickly toggle cosmetics on and off (O by default)
- Option to minimize the customizer and player display when using Essential mini
Single player world sharing
- Replaced the old UPnP (Universal Plugin and Play) system with one utilizing ICE (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interactive_Connectivity_Establishment). This should make the feature work for almost all our users!
General Quality of Life additions
- Windowed Fullscreen support including fixing bugs with the window not returning to the correct size after leaving fullscreen.
Account Switcher
- Option to copy the url to the clipboard in case it doesn't automatically open when logging in with Microsoft
In order to get access to this Beta, simply drop the attached jar file into your mods folder. To get off this or any other Essential beta, simply delete the jar.
