go to the minecraft launcher installation

and set the runtime

click browse, c:\program files\java\jre1.8.0_version\bin\javaw.exe

Ok my current java installation is pretty outdated i currently got Version 8 Update 231

i'll install the new java version and update this archive if the problem is happening again

make sure you set the java executable in the launcher

#

otherwise it uses 8u51

#

and 51 is old
