Ok, also minecraft is maxing out my memory when it shouldnt be, any ideas?

how much memory have you allocated?

I have 4gigs out of 8 of ram allocated, and task manager is saying 95% of memory is being used at 2.7gigs

I can send a ss of task manager if that helps

Litteraly just opened minecraft, sitting on the home screen and getting this:

removed optifine and still at 95% memory

try removing mods 1 by 1 ig

or directly try vanilla minecraft

This is vanilla on my island in skyblock, I have not changed how much ram is allocated in the installation settings so I assume it is 2gigs

I dont know about you but I dont think this should be happening

I will contact my computers support I guess, this probably isnt something to shove onto you guys 😄

i mean if your minecraft is using 88% memory and 37% GPU on vanilla it probably isnt forge

mines using like 3%
