genuinely no idea how this happened
i've tried downgrading my skytils and essentials versions along with checking newer versions and all have this same issue
issue appeared after launching fabric skytils and then swapping back to forge

I'm guessing you use the same instance for fabric and forge then?
You might need to delete the config file to fix it but idk (probably back it up if you do)

I dont use same instance and I relaunched my launcher each time to double check

I may have to but would be annoying :(
I should specify im in the default launcher and using fabric 1.21.5 and forge 1.8.9 for the versions

Did you set a separate game directory for at least one of them?

Just swapped mod folders
Figured it was enough bc I did that for all other 1.21 mods
Only an issue w skytils
Also only an issue w config menu
I can open the catlass menu and all others

Linux: .minecraft is located in your home folder. ~/.minecraft
Open your Minecraft folder and send the file called latest or latest.log from .minecraft/logs.
