If you have problems with FPS drops in 1.8.9, make sure you have these mods installed:

Optifine
Patcher (Dont forget to turn on HUDCaching in /patcher)
Make sure you change your ram from the default of 2gb to 4gb or 5gb. For a guide how to, type /ram in discord.
If you still have problem with fps type: /fpssettings in discord.
