#HUDCaching compatibility issue

In the Ethewarp Pos, Fill Door (catlas), and Simon Says (button render) mods, an issue occurs when the drawFilledBoundingBox method is active alongside Patcher's HUDCaching mode. I know this isn’t a problem with Skytils, but since many people use Patcher and the HUDCaching feature is really great, I hope you can consider compatibility.

This problem happened to me a year ago, and I was waiting for an update, thinking it would eventually be fixed.

As shown in the picture below, if HUDCaching is enabled and the drawFilledBoundingBox method is active in Skytils, the screen brightness becomes odd when not in first-person view.

I’d like to ask if you have any plans to fix this issue in the future.

Use VBOS: ON
Smart Animations: ON
Render Regions: ON
Smooth FPS: OFF
Smooth World: OFF
Fast Render: OFF (for mods that need it off)
Fast Math: OFF (since this breaks things more than it helps)
/patcher > Search HUDCaching > enable it

are you talking about a way to solve this problem?

You can only turn off hud catching

And it’s ok

Because you don’t have CIT

I'm not sure why you're talking about something unrelated to the topic, but I'm talking about a GL issue.

Most mods I know do not have HUD caching issues with the filledBoundingBox method. This is not a bug in Skytils, but only Skytils can resolve the issue because it requires modifying the GlState code.

Also, I don't know what CIT refers to, but HUD caching is a feature that stores and reuses the HUD to improve performance. There's absolutely no need to disable it

HUD catching is a good boost with custom texturepacks

#

Otherwise it’s mid at best

#

CIT = custom item textures

#

I understand the issue

#

I’m saying it’s not relevant until you really need the 10 frames it goved

Gives

I am using CIT, and even if I weren’t, the frames rendered by HUDCaching are extremely high.
What I want to know is whether the developers are willing to address this issue in future updates, not looking for alternative solutions.

I'm pretty sure this is related to an issue the odin dev mentioned to me once, so I might look into it

I love past tako and odin dev for writing down the problems/fixes
