@twilit canyon (DuggyChan) uploaded a log, https://paste.ee/p/15RPUKcb
- Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.8.0_411
- Forge 11.15.1.2318 on 1.8.9 using 12 mods
- OptiFine M5
Possible Solutions:
- You'll need to update Essential to the latest version. The game should prompt you to update before the crash occurs but if not, you can download the latest version from the Essential website (scroll down past the installer) or Modrinth
Recommendations:
- Unless you know what you're doing, modifying your JVM args could have unintended side effects. It's best to use the defaults.
- Update Essential from 1.3.0.3 to 1.3.5.7
@primal glade thank you for assistance, updating essential was the solution
Do you know why they force the update, this is very frustrating especially since my client worked flawnlessly
api changes
tho tbh, we should just disable your api connection if you're on a too old version
