Possible Solutions:

You'll need to update Essential to the latest version. The game should prompt you to update before the crash occurs but if not, you can download the latest version from the Essential website or Modrinth

Recommendations:

Update Patcher from 1.8.5 to 1.8.9

Can i get some help i installed essential through the installer and i for some reason decided to delete the old one i had and while installing the new one it said it will put everything in another subsidiary but now my mods refuse to work and all my settings are reset to default what should i do?

new directory -> empty mods folder -> no mods -> settings are reset to default

Ok so i fixed essential not opening up when mods load

#

I restored the deleted folders from the trash bin

and it worked out

and now i understand what you mean by profile

The issue is it's the same profile i beleive

there is nothing new in the installations tab
