The game crashed whilst there was a severe problem during mod loading that has caused the game to fail
Error: net.minecraftforge.fml.common.LoaderException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class gg.essential.api.EssentialAPI

  • Forge 11.15.1.2318 on 1.8.9
  • OptiFine L5

Possible Solutions:

  • Update OptiFine from L5 to M5
  • You'll need to update Essential to the latest version. The game should prompt you to update before the crash occurs but if not, you can download the latest version from the Essential website or Modrinth

Recommendations:

  • Update Notenoughupdates from 2.1.1-PRE to 2.3.0
  • Update Patcher from 1.8.1 to 1.8.9
