Why feather is bad:

  • completely obfuscated (unreadable)

Mod devs can't fix issues since they don't know what feather does

We don't know if they're sending your information elsewhere (it's known that they send data to sketchy servers, possibly sensitive data)
..

besides normal mc launcher?

well there's skyclient, which is not a client
prism or modrinth launchers for non-minecraft launcher experiences that are still good
and I would also say atlauncher but it's really just prism with server support and also it's a bit more heavyweight

I recommend prism or modrinth for most people

atlauncher is just an option for users who may want more from their launcher then what prism offers

Aside from the obvious stuff such as fast graphics, fog off & all that, there's also:
Use VBOs: ON (Video Settings)
Smart Animations: ON (Video Settings -> Performance)
Render Regions: ON (Video Settings -> Performance)
Smooth FPS: OFF (Video Settings -> Performance)
Smooth World: OFF (Video Settings -> Performance)
Fast Render: OFF (Video Settings -> Performance)
Fast Math: OFF (Video Settings -> Performance)
Antialiasing: OFF (Video Settings -> somewhere idk)
[Patcher] /patcher -> search "HUD Caching" -> Enable
[Launcher] Allocate 4GB RAM to your instance

the patcher one has been recorded reported by many people in my guild to at minimum double fps

also i seem to notice that chattriggers lowers my fps by a big amount is it the same for everyone
