stop using feather
It doesn't work with forge either tho from the minecraft launcher
you still have feather mods in there
Why feather is bad:
..
- completely obfuscated (unreadable)
Mod devs can't fix issues since they don't know what feather does
We don't know if they're sending your information elsewhere (it's known that they send data to sketchy servers, possibly sensitive data)
..
The Solution:
Uninstall Feather.
so to solve the problem i just uninstall feather?
Of course! Here's a simplified 10-step guide on how to uninstall an application called "Feather" from your computer:
-
Find the Start Menu: In the bottom-left corner of your screen, click on the Windows Start button.
-
Search for "Feather": In the search bar, type "Feather" and press Enter.
-
Locate "Feather": Look for the "Feather" application in the search results. It should appear in the list of apps.
-
Right-Click on "Feather": Once you find "Feather," right-click on its icon. A menu will pop up.
-
Choose "Uninstall": From the menu, select the "Uninstall" or "Uninstall app" option. This will start the uninstallation process.
-
Follow Uninstallation Wizard: You may see a wizard or a prompt asking you to confirm the uninstallation. Follow the on-screen instructions and click "Next" or "Uninstall."
-
Wait for Uninstallation: The computer will begin removing "Feather." It might take a minute or two. Be patient.
-
Confirm Uninstallation: After the uninstallation is complete, you'll typically see a message saying it was successful. Click "Finish" or "OK" to confirm.
-
Check for Residual Files: Sometimes, there might be leftover files or folders. You can manually delete them if you want to free up more space, but be cautious not to delete anything important.
-
Restart Your Computer: It's a good practice to restart your computer after uninstalling any application to ensure that all changes take effect.
And that's it! "Feather" should now be uninstalled from your computer.
I've finished all the steps and it still crashes from minecraft launcher forge
send ss of modfolder
you need to reinstall all the mods or remove the .temp from their name
including the tweaker
so from the second i just rename them?
and the mods inside 1.8.9
there is nothing in there idk why it keeps re appearing when i delete it
the earlytweaker is supposed to be in there, why'd you move it out of the folder
did you rename the earlytweaker
Yes
relaunch
hm, let's debug:
first, remove Essential-forge_1-8-9. You don't need it.
Secondly, update Patcher. You're 3 minor patches out of date.
Third, try removing geckolib
Lastly, try removing SBE
try all the steps one-by-one and relaunch
what crash message specifically
