yeah uh
the reason it doesn't work
is cause its using the broken version
💀
idk why it updated correctly for me
but anyways
you need to delete the old earlytweaker one
and itll work
its still crashing
unless i did it wrong
i deleted the whole 1.8.9 folder and relaunched
oh nvm this time it worked
after it crashed the first time did you launch again
so what do i have to do to fix it
delete the 1.8.9 folder in ur mods folder then launch it twice
huh so.... what about if it wont update at all?
send your minecraft log
Windows: Hit Windows Key + R and type in %appdata%. Open the .minecraft folder.
Mac: On the bar at the top of your screen in Finder, click Go, then click Go to Folder and type ~/Library/Application Support/Minecraft, then hit enter.
Linux: .minecraft is located in your home folder. ~/.minecraft
Open your Minecraft folder and send the file called latest or latest.log from .minecraft/logs.

@formal minnow uploaded a log,
- Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.8.0_51
- Forge 11.15.1.2318 on 1.8.9
- OptiFine M5
Possible Solutions:
- A file cannot be accessed because it is being used by another process, possibly an instance of the game that got stuck in the background. Try killing all
javaprocesses in Task Manager or restarting your PC.
Recommendations:
- Most of the time you don't need more than 2GB RAM allocated (maybe 3-4GB if you use skyblock mods). You may be able to reduce the amount of RAM allocated from 5G to 2G or 3G
send log again
you need to download the update manually
or that
ill try that?
apparently they switched ssl certificates or soemthing
april fools joke
1.9.1
halp
aaand the download is stuck at 100% but not complete
if its in your browser it means your antivirus is scanning it
ah ok, got it downloaded and now its doing the 1.8.9 folder thing, then launching after
and that booted? modlist ingame says 1.9.1
weird
why the autoupdate didnt work but manually updating from github did
but hey, it works now. thanks!

- No se puede acceder a un archivo porque lo está utilizando otro proceso, posiblemente una instancia del juego que se atascó en segundo plano. Intente eliminar todos los procesos
