Win key + R and then type %appdata%\.minecraft\crash-reports
mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
Linux: You should know this if your using linux

Possible Solutions:

SplashProgress has detected a error loading Minecraft.
This can sometimes be caused by bad video drivers.
We have automatically disabled the new Splash Screen in config/splash.properties.
Try reloading minecraft before reporting any errors.

Recommendations:

Unless you know what you're doing, modifying your JVM args could have unintended side effects. It's best to use the defaults.
Update Patcher from 1.8.3 to 1.8.5

Does it crash or freeze and have to force close?

I type something in the search bar and it freezes and closes but sometimes i can type 1 thing and when i go to delete the letters then freezes and crashes

also it keeps asking me to update skytils even tho its the latest version everytime i login

Yeah that's #Known Bugs

it doesn't display it if you do /st config and then set update channel to none
Current hotfix while we wait for the permanent one
