Still unable to update past 1.2.6 without the game instantly crashing when it boots up, its been like this for over 4 months, will this ever be fixed or am I forever stuck on 1.2.6?

Possible Solutions:

SplashProgress has detected a error loading Minecraft.
This can sometimes be caused by bad video drivers.
We have automatically disabled the new Splash Screen in config/splash.properties.
Try reloading minecraft before reporting any errors.

My friend had the same issue but apparently M5 fixed it...
