I think it's related to smart font whatever that is, so I disabled my resource packs through my options file, then it booted normally

If I can disable smart font somehow let me know

It could have been some weird issue with non English characters because the resource pack had some weird text in it

#

So I renamed it just to be safe

Do you have the Patcher mod?

there might be a fix for your issue in the mod
