Hello recently I switched from using my computers hard drive to using an external one, this rendered all my shows unusable with thousands of errors and the like, is there any way to reset everything and start agin from scratch?

you can clear the trash and rescan the new library location
smart collections shouldn't be effected, although i think regular ones will? not sure

I would but now I have thousands of video files and no time to go through each of them to reassign to their proper collections

A well-organized collection and proficient use of ETV's search funtions should make the work go by quickly.

I’m aware of that but I haven’t any idea how to make use of that and would prefer to start fresh
