and if you're importing your plex libraries, ignore the part in the documentation about adding "path replacements"

it's the same as the machine it's running on

#

if it's the same machine, you could probably use localhost instead of the IP

that way if your IP ever changes, the configuration doesn't break

Personally I use Jellyfin instead of Plex, many of us have found it to be a bit more reliable.

Plex support is currently through a compatibility mode that tries to simulate an HDHomerun TV tuner. This means that EPG changes are very slow to show up since those devices don't have updated EPG very often.
