Just curious if there is any way to upgrade to the latest version of ErsatzTV while keeping all of my data/settings? My apologies in advance for what is almost certainly a simple question

the settings are separate. Updating does not erase your settings

So would I just copy the entire 0.75 folder in place of where I have 0.74?

#

Sorry this probably sounds ridiculous ๐Ÿ˜„

#

Lol, ok, got it, thanks for the confirmation ๐Ÿ˜„

can you paste your etv version from below the left menu?

got it, it's showing 0.7.5

ok, the reason i ask is because it also shows which platform you are on and if you use docker

#

config is stored in different places depending on that

For hardware thread count, does 0 equal "optimal" or should I be setting it for the threads available in my CPU?

if you're using hw accel i would set to 1

I don't use docker

#

Ok, thanks!

#

I've got it to largely be stable, but it still gets a little off track during show boundaries

#

I'm guessing that's par for the course with Plex

#

It's far better than it was a few days ago though

Seriously loving this, I used to make VHS tapes of favorite show "marathons" years ago with my twin brother, we used a network VHS player to stream through the house, it was super fun. Used to do alternate picking exercises (guitar stuff) all day to those tapes, this is probably the next best thing to having a home media library

I owe you a donation in a big way ๐Ÿ™‚

Speaking of picking exercises, I've got band rehearsal later, at least I've got my cozy old shows to keep me occupied while I run through the material!!! Thanks again for making this possible!
