So, I have a smart collection defined as "type:movie"
I have a Schedule with the MovieCollection from above Shuffling single entries. I've played around with Flood and 0 and other ways of accomplishing a never ending shuffle of the entire movie collection but they all seem to wind up with the same behavior. I have 8 different movie channels w/ this schedule, after a couple days (this seems consistent, need to see what the exact timing is, could be end of the inital playout?) they each seem to collapse to repeating the same random movie exclusively or near exclusively, until I reset the playout. It will then happen again in the next few days on seemingly the same cadence. Easy enough to go manually reset the playouts every day or so for those channels to resuscitate them a bit but definitely something flaky happening.
#Movie Collection playout consistently devolves into repeating movies

can you stop etv and dm me your ersatztv.sqlite3 file from the config folder?
absolutely just a moment
Hi Jason, this sound like the issue i was mentioning in #1061591403685236746? 🤔 Thanks 😉
i can repro this in a test harness that simulates building a playout over a couple days. will keep digging
looks like a bug with the fallback filler, if you remove that from the schedule it seems to behave correctly
alright, i think i have a fix. will push later today after i write some new tests. problem was actually with using multiple smart collections in a schedule, not necessarily just fallback filler
awesome thanks!
