Yes!
Hutch said that they won't add metric units, because they are british and don't know what the heck is a kilometer. They just can't.
Meanwhile, in other games, switch miles to kilometers - 🗿🚬
0-60, 0-120 and so on wouldn't work anymore. It's not just changing mph to kmh but also about "redesigning" quite free races.
Will everything stay the same? why won't it work? it is enough to make a recalculation formula and everything will work
So you will have 0-96kmh races? Looks odd. 0-100kmh would be another race.
that means they will add seconds in kmh. Is this a problem? in other games, this is implemented, there are no problems there
How many seconds need to be added? For all the different cars. They need real world test data, they can't just add whatever seconds.
Further 0-60mph and 0-100 kmh are different races so you'd have to split mph and kmh users.
As said, it's not about calculating mph to kmh, it's the affect it would have to the whole game.
Um, is there only Great Britain on the planet? I'll tell you a secret that cars go to other markets where there are kilometers per hour. Or have you never seen when there are 2 scales of miles and kilometers on the dashboard? on the Internet, there is 0-100 for any car. in the NFS for some reason, it is possible. in the forza it is possible (but there is 0-96) but it is possible to do, for some reason everything is fine with acceleration there and it is more pleasant to see kilometers per hour than miles
There's no problem creating more races for Km\h. We already have 0 - 186 mph, which is 0 - 300 Km\h, so it's proof that Hutch CAN do it, they just don't want to 🤷♂️
Never heard of this race.
I'm from Germany 🙂
Forza and NFS are different games with different key modes, you can't compare this.
Okay, I gave an example of a game where there is a switch "miles - kilometers per hour" I'll give you another example. they sell a range rover in Germany. is acceleration from 0-60 miles officially written on the brochure? or from 0-96? or 0-100? Do you have a speedometer in miles on your dashboard too?
It's in the game, just never used. It was in a challenge a looooong time ago I recall. Don't have a screenshot unfortunately.
Search discord, you'll find answers there. It's not as easy as you imagine. I'll leave the discussion here.
..... I asked you a question, you didn't answer. in other games it is, in real life it is. - you're telling me, "it's not possible." 🤷♂️
I found a solution to our problem, we capture the UK and make normal traffic there (right-hand traffic) and switch all speedometers to kmh. And there won't be any problems.
in games like this u drive car and u create times, in TD hutch will need to change every single times in the entire game, only drag track that wouldnt be affected is 0-100 bcs kmh/miles converter is 1mile = 1.6kmh.
Also Im from Poland, if i would create a game i wont give a **** about miles per hour ill just use kmh, bc hutch is british they use miles.
Simple
I'll repeat it again... who made the forza? Microsoft. Whose company is Microsoft? British. there's a miles-kilometers switch there. why could they implement it? let them write that (0-96) but it is implemented there. there will be no changes that will affect the car. or do you think that if there are kilometers per hour, the car will start accelerating faster? or will it become slow?
this switch should have been taken into account initially in the game, because it goes to other strange places where normal kilometers per hour
like i told it would be too much work for hutch
*changing 0-60 by around 0.1- 0.4 sec
*changing times for:
-0-60
-0-120
-0-150
-0-170
-30-130
-75-125
Ah yes let's compare hutch to MICROSOFT
Indeed, this is such a difficult task. The comparison is incorrect. in order to change miles into kilometers, Microsoft and 5 more companies are needed.... 🤷♀️
TD DO NOT have 0-186 mph, at least it never appeared for years, like since WE.
TD does have 0-62 mph (≈ 0-100 km/h) and 0-124 mph (≈ 0-200 km/h) though.
