Hi, I'm having trouble with the screen gestures on Lawnchair. When I use them my device reboots and states that the service is not working.

yea.... so when i use the double tap to sleep gesture, my device reboots and then opens the stock launcher and then i have to set lawnchair as my default launcher again. Lawnchair then prompts me to enable accessibility services but I get the error shown above about 5 seconds after I do.
im running lawnchair Alpha 4 on ColorOS 13

Ok, ig it's not lawnchair's issue. That's coming from ColorOS. Some chinese OSes don't have good compatibility with third party launchers.
About Accessibility service: almost all OSes, except stock Androids don't allow app to run in background & that's why accessibility service stops working sometimes.
Try testing the reboot thing with some other launchers. See if this issue persists
