My attendance isn't confirmed yet (visas), and Jannis drove the discussions w/ organisers last year so I don't know if it's too late to put it on the schedule...

I do agree that it'll be good to have a summit at europython as well, even if we do it as just an open space. 😅

I don't think it's too late, the Rust summit was only added last week. Open space is always a good plan b 👍

I plan to be at EuroPython, if we need someone to help organize, presumably alongside Jannis. (I am not experienced in this, but with some mentorship/guidance I'm happy to try.)

I’ve talked with Artur and Crístian already and confirmed that I’ll be running it again at EP.

I haven’t talked with Pradyun yet (sorry!), organizing it last year was a little difficult alone. I also assume we’ll want a full day given the number of submissions for the one at PyCon US to make it a little less intense. I don’t think it should happen parallel to the RustSummit and I need to follow up about the dates with the organizers

As for the timing, I think I can have something coordinated next week. We can use the same tools and patterns we have established now for the summit, so it won’t be a huge lift
