Currently, when you pick up a ring, it show's the ring's description, but not its actual name, until you go into the inventory to look for it.

(It does this with Gemini, too, but I have all the rings so I don't have a screenshot handy.)

It should also tell the player they'll need to find a ring box to equip it if they don't have one yet.
