I almost don't want to report this, so I can find a way to put it into a troll level.
The Gem remains deadly in the editor, I guess saving and reloading the level will clear it. So does picking it up in play mode and throwing it. Otherwise I would totally use this.
You just have to pick up the gem while it's in the air.

Technically the cube hasn't "threatened" to stab you.
It's a shame bumpers don't hit the gem. I don't know how to make a gem fly back at you.
