I know we'll be getting metal balls as a throwable item, but I'd love it if they could also be set as a projectile. They would push the player just like metal bars, but don't trap you like a gust, and deal probably a half heart of damage on contact.

you can just have a conveyer launch the metal ball off a spring to have the same effect

Give it hella knockback too, or even stun you for a sec cuz you got bonked on the head.
