I'm pretty sure shape-gem-doors or something of the like are confirmed. Like in Phantom Hourglass' Temple of the Ocean King: There are gems and and "pedestals" where you have to put them in to open a corresponding door.

Don't know whether it'll be exactly like that, but I think it was requested multiple times and accepted at some point.
