a two high torch varient like a pillar maybe could be move but would have another sprite for being in liquid

I actually would like it as a torch you cannot reach, but when in water, it gets sunken and player can now reach the torch.

Maybe it would also be reachable from a higher level? E.g. totem on lowered floor tiles, player on upper level; player jumping with the whirlwind; etc
