I can't hit this bat with the sword, regardless of whether I jump or not, or whether it is flying or not. It also can't hit me.

It's not my dungeon, it's someone else's that I was playing. I only noticed it with that one bat (there were others in the room that I was able to hit normally) I am playing version 0.8.0.12

there was a dungeon a long time ago that abused layers to create unkillable enemies if thats still a thing
