#Way to visually connect a switch to an object?

Is there a plan to have an option to visually connect a switch/pressure plate/etc. to the object it affects? For example, maybe a switch turns off a trap, and you can make them both the same color or some other visual cue for the player. In Portal, there are lines of lights you can connect between items. It's nice to have that clarity if the switch and the object aren't close to each other.

(Keep up the good work, by the way! I'm having a lot of fun making dungeons and player other peoples')

You mean kind of like wiring in Terraria?

Why not.
More option for visual presentation that help the player is an okay to me, just hope it won't add that much clutter anyway.

Though you can however be creative and use Rails.

Okay, the rails are such a clever way to do this!

You actually have to wire contraptions to switches to make them work. In QM it could just be visual in editor mode
