I put a set of stairs to go down a level, but wanted to copy the floor above to match the basement. So I copied the entire floor including the stairs and the stairs can still work, but now there is a stair graphic on every floor and you can't delete it.

Okay, so I got it to do it on a probably 25% chance basis. It seems to be something with the copy command. I also tried to save it and it didn't save the dungeon

In this example I was copying the entrance, which probably doesn't help, but the original issue didn't include the entrance. I had remembered I did make a key door though, so tried it with that
Seems like the more unique objects you try to copy the worse it might get haha

i think specifically here the staircase and entrance is the problem yea
i just disabled copying those

Yeah a lot of times it would just move them instead of copy, but I guess sometimes they would actually copy
