no you would lose the concept of having unique theme
it is still unique u cant use theme based items from top floor (forest) in bottom floor (temple) for example but u can change an whole them each floor
I just feels like it can conflict with lot of things as I guess you can only assign one theme tag, but up to Julian
I just dont find mixing themes in an entire one level fitting aesthetic
That's why I think the "Magic Mirror" Idea with alternate Dungeons could fit better it's not the same of course but it's an reasonable sounding way to add another theme.
To add more variety (thought that might be post launch since it's a lot of work) there could be also something like an secondary theme that only fits the corresponding element. Like having a theme that's shows an outside exterior like when you're climbing a tower.
also note that we have in the future an overworld maker
thats why i think im not sure havin mixing theme in a dungeons would be fitting
Oh you're right
So it could be possible to combine overworld and dungeons, like switching between several entrances?
I just guess your overworld gonna have its own mechanic while linking your dungeons between them, Julian is the best to explains that
