C/C++ are low level languages that means they are close to hardware and can be used to handle memory.. whereas C# is High level language which means you cannot allocate memory by yourself, C# will do it for you.. C/C++ is used in os programming, embedded system like microwave, cars, refrigerator, washing machine etc as it is close to hardware.. C# on other hand will enable you to make android apps, desktop apps, games, web backend etc

In game development 2 languages are used.. C++ and C#.. there is a game engine called Unity, which provides support for C# for you to develop games.. and there is another engine called Unreal engine which provides support for C++ to develop games
mostly C++ and C# are used for developing heavy duty games.. no other language is used, not even C
But C# is simple
hi, C# is very different from C and C++. When I was interested in C# many years ago, the C# code was being compiled to some intermediate code which is not machine code. C and C++ compiles into machine code which is the fastest.
C# is more like Java sort of thing.
np anytime
yepp
If you learn C language you can learn C++. However this will not help if you want to do C# 😉
Or you can start with C#, but then you will have problems with C and C++ 😉
It is just very different way of coding and thinking.
I will take that Into consideration
I am an expert in WordPress, WooCommerce and MEAN Stack.
Currently I am looking new job.
Should I learn kotlin or python ?
both serve different purposes
Kotlin is for android so what is the purpose of python ?
commonly it is used for making desktop apps, and also backend for web apps
also for machine learning and data analysis
Hi folks. I’ve been learning Java for a while .. there are some topics from intermediate lvl I would still like to study on before jumping into spring boot and related stuff. Maybe some of you are in a similar position? It would be really nice to get together from time to time and figure out some stuff, practice git collaboration and much more. If you shout x3 YES MAN in your mind, let me know on priv, thx
Depend, if you want to be a mobile developer then you can learn Kotlin, but if you want to be a back-end developer, machine learning engineer you can learn Python.
what is it called when u solve a single Leetcode problem during the whole day?
It’s called “trying your best” 😁
Or “not your day”
hi
Who makes desktop applications using python?💀
some people
console.log("hello everyone")
print('hello peeps')
;
we don't use ;
haha
it is used in js
am also js dev

Happy Holiday, Everyone!
I am a Python dev
Hey, welcome to this server.
Hello world
hey guys do you have c# course to share?
Hi everyone
Hi, I'm about to pick Java in two weeks probably, I'm currently working as a junior data engineer, we can practice git if you want (raw git) with good practices.
I have the general foundations of programming tho, like assembler, C, but my weakness is picking modern frameworks and working
Thanks dude.
Hi, take a look at https://github.com/devmentors/aspnetcore-developer-roadmap
anyone data science enthusiast
Is that ur repo?
No, but I follow them on YT and watch their courses
This person is
it is!
wassup mmm i would tell of a book im writing about pentesting, and cybersecurity when i finish it, i want to share with this community the book so they can read it and correct my gramatical errors.
but for best pratice i used it
Hí
i'm Ismael a software engineer
i'm from mexico, i want speak english
and talk about this topics
anybody?
I can help you. I'm studying computing engineer, and I'm from Brazil.
great! @cosmic vine
what kind of math do you guys use in programming?
it depends about problems
I'm studying computer science but I have no idea what I'm doing now
i think that i would to be a software engineer
how do you help me friend?
i'n know basic's math, i've been developer many apps for diferents context
don't worries
do you know programming?
If you want, we can talk about many languages like python, C#, Java, JavaScript.
I'm learning programming.
What do you use Java and C# for? I use them for data base programming.
Seriously? Amazing.
When I program in C#, I use SQL commands to interact with the data base
do you use entity framewrok?
framework*
it's a ORM tool
based in OOP for translate relational schemas
No, I don't use entity framework yet.
what semester are you in?
I'm in the third semester of computing engineer college.
oh man, do you like?
I'm also doing a programming course, but I didn't get to the software development mode.
For sure.
what do you doing in C#?
I'm doing data base interaction
I connect the visual studio 2012 with access to manage the database with SQL.
Not yet.
Basically, yes.
And I'm learning to do the same thing in Java and Python.
oh that's rigth
right*
see that
it's ado.net
you can connect for some databases
it's the same jdbc if you programming on java
i loved java but in my job we use dot net
Thx a lot ❤️
yeah!
isn't Visual studio 2012 versiom expired? Or it doesn't matter?
basic everyday maths
nothing academic
but am front end web dev
for + - * /, those are ok
but how about equations?
I think it is not expired, but there are other versions, like 2019
yeah depend dot net version
if you can work with 2012 version, I think I'm gonna uninstall my 2017 version
for instance if you use VS 2012 maybe use .NetFramework 4.0
thanks for your advice
ive no real idea about math, the hardest thing ive encountered when it comes to it was maybe fractions and percentages and maybe some very basic algebra, but am front end web dev, and it differs a lot from software engineers who make desktop apps
I see
like i consider myself very bad at math, i would not stand a chance if my problem required anything really complex, even now i use the search engine to help me with my math when i need it
Now, I've no idea about what I choose for my future, I'm literally lost in it
anything you'd like to do
Math is useful, and a lot of times i see how bad i am at it and how id wish i had been better, but i go on without being good, if you can study it and you want to study it then feel free, because it teaches you a lot of things that i am possibly even unaware of
I would give a try for any type of complex but I can't focus on only one thing, I used to drop at many languages then learning those again and just dropping those for more
different languages serve different purposes
pick what you wanna develop/do and stick to it, if desktop apps then desktop apps and thats the end
for me i dont have any degree and its not necessary, but if you already chose it then well good choice, your way your life
Sometimes I have no idea what I'm doing with. School taught me this but Internet said I have to be good at that. But if you say so I want to be a Cyber Security or a Sofware Engineer or maybe a Computer Scientist who makes AI
thats nice, there is a lot of paths, for me am a front end web dev, but for instance i use linux and id honestly also maybe like to know cyber security, or linux administration, but thats not my cup of tea for now so i dont study it
pick one thing and study one thing
do you have any tip for not dropping at what you're studying?
have clear reasons why exactly this thing
see yourself in it, and think about it, like if you wanna be a cyber security specialist then notice how many things you could do that the other people wouldnt be able to do
like i guess i could conceive of some very "venerable" and sublime and whatever arguments, but at the end of the day its simple, you choose thing, you do this thing
doesnt matter how old you are or anything, you do you
yeah i think that too
but kinda doesnt matter
if they wanna do what i do then make me stop doing what i do and replace me
no one will replace me tho, because they do their thing and i do my thing, there is a lot of job vacancies even if hard to get at first
i wont even mention freelance cuz it is an option as well
after all, maybe I'm just a bit negative, thanks for your advices
i used to be negative too but
but there is no reason, like be postive cuz then other people are also positive
like that
thank you
Guys what do you think of "MOJO" programming language
W
Hey
Wow coding eh? I do some too :))
Yo
Never heard 🙂
Alright
Hi everyone
I m Gurnav
I m currently in 5th sem of my bachelor degree
and started learning the front end development
am front end web too
but i dont have a degree, am doing freelance
a month, approximately, i dont have my own business but i help out a friend who has his own, thats why
id like to work full time in future but am not really strong enough to be employed for a big company, i gotta learn frameworks better
I’m frontend mid level
I m learning from the #100devs course by leon
i use udemy, usually max schwarzmuller and jonas schmedtmann
hi kira nice to meet you
have you build some project
yeah
a few, but i dont share anything on github, i either save things offline or when i do a commercial one then i just send it to a friend and he does the formality
I have build my protfolio recently
what about scss
I know little bit of it but not use any project
I currently focusing on javascript
i cant write a single app without SCSS, becaue css is too much pain, i need my BEM notation, 7-1 sass folder architecture, etc
to make things organized
@use, @forward, etc
yeah it more organise
good luck with js!
you know js
a bit, enough to make some things work, i wouldnt make a full-fledged huge e-commerce tho
Do you use React?
no I use vanila js html css
I try to learn react create this https://tailwind-card-jsx.netlify.app/
but I firstly focusing on js
Where are you from?
@blazing phoenix
Hello
I m from india
is it made of react
no it is made html css js only
Hello
ES6
ayy
anything older is deprecated
same xD cba to see the new ones
the most right thing to ask is why do you follow exactly es6? it's pretty old
what do you think about human compute interaction
what is that
I don't think so
no
Hi everybody! Greetings from Argentina!
not
its not old
plus i guess my bad, i meant everything from es6 above
Hi everyone I am newbie here I am java enthusiasts and I try to be a test automation engineer if is there anyone interested in this subject I want to talk beside I want to enhance my english level with you nice people
you can message me about Java
HI any Rust programmer here uses any crate for logging different levels of message to different destinations such as local file system or remote server (e.g. ElasticSearch) ?
hello everyone
I love a girl ,Her parents are very strict with her,so I didn't have a chance to get close to her, but I want to give her love, I full of unreleasable love want to give her😭
don't worry, your life will get debugged soon
java has more haters i think
?why
I am learning numpy, who wants to discuss it with me
It depends on what type of project you are working with
If you need performance you might want to go with c++.
Lmao
In general yes, C++ has more options to write fast software, but also in general, Java could be fast and in some cases Java can even outperform C++ using JIT compilation
Can you give examples these specific cases?
You can read it on wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Just-in-time_compilation . This section: "In addition, it can in some cases offer better performance than static compilation, as many optimizations are only feasible at run-time"
In computing, just-in-time (JIT) compilation (also dynamic translation or run-time compilations) is compilation (of computer code) during execution of a program (at run time) rather than before execution. This may consist of source code translation but is more commonly bytecode translation to machine code, which is then executed directly. A syst...
Is anyone expert at web developer here?
I meant everything bro
everything in web-development means front-end and back-end. In fact in real world it means that a person builds huge dynamic online environment and gets only a small % of it's true value
it also means you work round the clock to present a working thing every Friday afternoon, before your manager leave for Saturday golf meeting
is this what you are interested in?
it is called full-stack web development
😉
I don't think they're comparable
Each language has its own use cases
java can give safety and cross-platform while C++ give best performance and speed
usually fullstack means "i know nothing"
because people who know something work either as a front or back
but thats a stereotype so no offense
you can perform Compile-time calculation in C++ too
actually, there is a Full stack developer.
It's the one who hires Front-end and Back-end, and give them tasks ))
It doesn't make any sense. Many of our co-founders including me, worked as a solo developer at first. It means we both worked in front and backend. And as our company grows, I found my role as a clouding engineer.
Guys I am looking for someone who know sometgins about embedded system.
proficient in C/C++ languages
I agree with you that technology should not be unilateral. It is not uncommon to complete a piece of software independently, including product design, database design, front-end, and back-end development.
@ocean jetty C / C++ ? what are you interested in?
embedded system
are u familier with it?
message me if you want to chat about it
python 🗿
Hi everyone
hey
well if someone is so keen on performance then Rust and C, like the old-school vanilla C, are the answers
print("Hi World")
hello i love javascript
php the best language
Is BCA is a good option after 12th grade?
you dont need a degree to be a programmer
But its better to pursue CS major for tech jobs
I recently graduated in BCA,
Prefer to pursue b.tech from IIT or NIT if you can't then MCA is equivalent to b.tech
For which you can do BCA
BCA itself doesn't really has much value when it comes to apply for big tech companies
So learn and skill up in BCA and pursue MCA from NIT for on campus opportunities
Arguably you can land a job without a degree but in India its rare case, some job roles requires to have masters or PhD like data science
yeah, depends on the country
zig is also good if you're programming for fun cuz there aren't a lot of jobs for zig programmers
I am learning it but it is damn hard.
What is difference between compiler and interpreted?
I also agree 👍
The difference is that languages like C/C++ are compiled into machine code - processor instructions executed at very high rate (MHz or GHz). Interpreted languages are executed slower, because at run time they get parsed and executed, which is slower than executing machine code. For example PHP.

It is the easiest programming language in the world.
The main difference is, a compiler translates the entire source code into machine code or bytecode, which can be executed independently. An interpreter executes the code line by line without prior translation.
There are other key differences in performance, portability, debugging and etc.
python is easier than js

JavaScript has a more flexible and forgiving syntax compared to Python, which can make it easier to get started with. On the other hand, Python has a clean and straightforward syntax that emphasizes code readability, making it easier to understand and learn.
The user decide it. What to use.
Okk thanks
There are two main categories of software developers: those who understand and those who don't
those who know what they and their tools do and those who do not
Can any sort of degree eliminate those who do not?
hello dear fellow coders how are you doing
for those who use it most of the time
any questions ?>3
hi
can anyone teach me programming language
basics
anyone can share his program ?
anyone here's?
o walle logo
which language?
c++ or python or any other
dm me
anybody interested in an online class about C programming?
scratch
yeah
let me know when you have some time to chat/talk
I think it is better to start with Python
I can help you with giving a right path
i'm search a gamedeveloper, which create a game in unity, write me)
Nice to meet you too
We can't say which language is the best . For example php is powerful in server-side . or c++/c is powerful for gaming industry.Each of them has their own power.
haha, php is powerful in server-side? 😉
Any other language?
I am a web developer with experience on PHP & NodeJS. My profile: https://www.fiverr.com/users/larasoft33
always try to learn something new in IT from sololearn or kaggle or that sort of sources but definetely not from discord servers' club
Is there anyone learning rust?
why are you saying this?
still, I didn't get it.
yes. I said that in chat. SE
So she wants to learn python or any other language
C++
how do you know that pronoun is she?
She is girl she said in beginner chat
oh, anyway. I can help her to learn any kinda language cuz I'm a super-high level SE
oh I see dm her then
nope.

I am looking for someone to study with and improve my English
Hi, someone to programing in java? 🤔
I'm trying to learn data structures in python are you down.
Is it max perzon's software?
hello guy, tomorrow i have an interview for .net developer position, but its in english, its my first time that ill do a one hour interview in english, any tips or help?english is not my main language and as you can understand im kinda nervous haha
Question 1. Immutable variables - please explain what is an immutable variable and what types of variables are or can be immutable
Question 2. Performance - what tools are needed to diagnose performance issues with .NET framework
Immutable object is an object that cannot altered after its creation if i remember well
Question 3. Intermediate Code - please elaborate on the intermediate code, its main purpose and benefits
or disadvantages
oohh dude you are, thanks, give me some time( of course without google them) to response in your questions
just kidding... 😉
well i dont have use any performance tool for testing performance, i know that the asp.net have a performance test package
Question 4. Shared Memory and Variables - inter-process memory regions and variables
as for the 3rd question i dont understand it well 😦
Question 5. Why are you interested in .NET framework?
it would be more easier if you provide me a case or a scenario? etch if you have the same request in one service what would you do to have a better perfmonace?
and my answer for that is to use memory cache database like redis, reduce the response time a lot
Congratulations ! You seem to be some type of a rookie willing to add to the global mess of software development! You got the job !!!! we will pay you $ ...... per month including all the benefits ! Welcome to our team !
im not interested for .net framework but for .net core or .net as the said after the .net core 5 hahah
hahahahahah
well i have 5 years of work experience but in my country
and its a littile but scary to work 8+ hours per day in english haha
only 8+ hour per day?
do anyone wants to talk in a room?
the typical hours is 8-9
no problem, we are anyway planning to increase number of hours per day to about 32 (8 * 4)
from 9 in morning till 5 or six
what, wait a minute, are you working for 4 days in week? 😮
after 2025 there will be 64 hours per day, and by 2050 128 hours / day
are you trolling me? 😦
nope, enjoy your day man !
Who here's got that Adobe Photoshop beta subscription?
looking for someone understand c
Hi @cosmic cave
Could you let me know about your problem?
I want to learn c but I have problem with array and string and how to use them in pointer
I made research ofc but after 1h ...

Have you ever tried to learn C with GPT?
You can let it point out the errors in your code.
Of course, it is only suitable for simple code.
but GPT make you lizzy to learn :/ no?
It can help you get started faster, which should be up to you.
have you tried to connect your brain to chatgpt directly?
is there any full stack developers ? i need to ask few questions in dm
Is any py coder here?
are there any people focus to PCB design or something else for work especially?
I am a Full-stack developer with PHP & JavaScript skills. For consultation: https://rebrand.ly/eg2wqfw

the last sentence sounds pretty cold honestly, i would consider adding something kind and thankful for the employment, like a small praise or words of grattitude towards the last employer (a new employer may actually be interested in how you perceive the employers in general)
doesnt have to be true, its just that in business world being kind sells better than being rude
does anyone here learn or work for PCB design?
@mighty robin Thank you so much for your appreciation and @cyan violet me! 🙋♂️ I have used KiCad, Eagle and a free one that I don't know remember the name.

Hello. there is anyone interested to learn data analytics or he know about it ? Because I start last week learn in excel simple things about data analytics . After that i want use Python and tubule , power bl and sql. So if anyone same my direction , we can help each other about data analytics.
Yes i do haha, I would like learn more about data science too👍 i have a few books related if you want i could send them ya
Hi, Anyone here who's learning baremetal microcontroller(programming as well) development / digital electronic message me if you want to study together.
hello I am a programming lover
.....
hello, Im a professional programmer with python.. so if anyone want to share ideas with me to program it ill be so thankful 🌹
yeah me too I 'm a react dev and I'm little bit anxited
hello
Hello I am developer if you want to build your please 🙏 contact us
No
any react native developer here??
Hi a simple question I have
I'm using VS code and I wanna know how I can get the answer of something
for example
H=7
M=10
S=H*M
how should I get the answer in VS code?
Ik it's so stupid question but I can't remember
hello, what do u mean u want to code an equation for muliplying H and M
Not for H and M it's bigger
I just want to know how should I get the answe of multiplying things I'm confused
what programming language are you using
python
and I'm working in VS I want this in VS code
ok perfect just remember when you ask another question tell the people your language VScode is just the ide( the environment you're coding in NOT the programming language)
so in python you just do this
H = 7
M = 10
S = H * M
print("sum is:",S)
Danggggggggg thank you so much
Hell yesssssssssssssssssssssss
😁 enjoy
THANK YOU SO MUCH
np take care of yourself
any app developer here??
I have one more question
I don't want it to write any thing else but numbers
I mean like
7
10
70
n sum it or something like that what should I do?
so you mean u just want it to output only the sum as a value without outputting sum = 70
yes sir
ok so when you are trying to output anything in python to the terminal you using print()
I used it, it's saying syntax error
in the brackets () you can print out the variable or either a string so if you want to print out a variable all you do is print(x) x= the value of what ever x is equal to
use chatgpt for that
it's helps a lot but also becareful
okay thank u so much again
np
Yes I am here
have you ever try react native
well I am familiar with React.
ohh, i have some error in react native
i can try it for you.
sure, if you can
do you know about custom navigation ?
yes
I know
Hello
I want to learn a programing
What is the right way to enter the world of programming
Hi what things interest you websites, robots, AI etc what is it exactly
AI.
Nice it's very difficult field but I'd recommend you start with CS50 introduction course
then take cs50 AI course
but instead of taking cs50 introduction because it's lowkey boring take cs50 python course which is a very very popular programming language for AI and when you want to understand more in depth programming go to cs50 introduction or other resources.
because C isn't a language to really get in touch with programming especially with the trends. I personally really like C but that's only for hardware reasons not actual programming expereince.
Okay man thanks I'll start with cs50 python .
What is the different between cs50 and cs50 AI
cs50 is introduction to computer science from a bit of the mathematical and low level point of view to the way data is structured and how you can process information efficently
it's an actual computer science course for hardvard majors as an introduction
cs50 is going deep into AI and understanding how to build and design one you need either python experience for cs50 course complete that's there perquisites
anyone using Quarkus here ?
there literally was barelly any math there
That’s why I said a bit. If you recall only week 5 of data structures was mainly showing the math using series and how sorting algorithms are actually calculated.
Hello everyone, i'd like to learn c++. How do i start? (recently changed my faculty to a new one where we will learn about robots and programming microcontrollers, don't know anything at the moment)
message me to talk about it if you want
Hello people! Somebody can explain me. Why this is expression working on C correctly? I am reading C book (Dennis Ritchie) where wrote: what any fractional part will be discarded, but I still receive correct computations (not zeros) 🧐. I am in a misunderstanding
I didn't get why this code shouldn't work
If you only want to get the integer part of the solution, you can turn the type of the celsius variable into int or if it you want to see the full value you need to make it float
Hi! I’m Android developer. 🤝🏽
Hello, i currently work as a graphic designer but i want to learn about full stack dev, does anyone can suggest me how/where to start?
you can start will TOP(the odin project) its very good but Heavily depending on docs
Im making a project in python
Java or Kotlin
Hi im front end developer

I dont like frontend except for js language
Seems an interesting programming language
js can be also used for backend 🙂
i just use typescript

Sounds good, im going to check it out. Thank you!
Thx
Do you have system architecture/design subject?
It only teaches the basics so you'll have to learn from the docs to deep dive
Don't know anything yet so this site will be just fine for me
Sure, you can also check out for detailed information

Hi guys
Im a frontend dev
Here's my portfolio https://portofolio-zedd.vercel.app
Idk what i should say, but i just need friends who frontend dev also
A portofolio using NextJS
Great portfolio. I like it!
this is a copy of this popular portfolio:
https://v4.brittanychiang.com/
🧐
well not exact copy, work section looks different
interesting template
I'm not a frontend developer. So, i don't know much about popular templates
yeah, i don't expect a lot of people to know about this, i just have seen it when i was trying to find an inspiration to build my own personal website
Hey guys
I'm a solo developer using Vue.js and Node.js to create some apps. Here is the first app I've made called Nativer, powered by GPT. My next goal is to integrate it into the iOS keyboard, but I have no experience with iOS development. Any suggestions? 😄
I just finished developing the web app and a bot. Do you reckon it's handy? 😊
hi iam back-end dev

hello. are you a developer?
Theme?im just looking for the syllabus and topics to learn
I understand, right
I would say CS student
Don't have any specific skills YET
How about system architecture?
Software architecture sounds similar to system architecture
Yes
Do they contain these topics?
Can you send it here or DM?or any link to download
Hey does anyone know free courses from where i can get javascript certificates?
Why you wanna get certificates?
freecode camp
https://en.git.ir/ its free for all courses
To get a job obviously
Good for you 🫠
Search how most people in ur country get tech jobs
And if they have graduation degree or not
Yeah im copy the design from that website
Im make from scratch only copy a color and the position, im not a ui/ux guy its kinda hard to design a website
will A.i replace data scientist job?
What do you think?
AI won't replace most of the tech jobs instead it will help you however the demand will be low
Medium
Steve Urkel from the world-famous ABC sitcom Family Matters was not a Data Scientist because, in the ’90s, we did not call them like that…
nasscom | The Official Community of Indian IT Industry
Introduction
Data science has benefited from the increase in data creation. As we generate billions of bytes of data every day, it should be no surprise that data scientists are more important than ever if we are to use all this data. However, AI is also evolving swiftly, much like data science. Both disciplines are active right now, and rob...

You can logically think about which part it can take over
For instance most of the analysis related stuff can be automated
thank you for the help Gk !
yeah
AI is next tool you need to learn, it's not substitution for programmers
I'm talking about the nearest future like 5 years
Ig you already saw the future 😶🌫️
Why flutter.bat is not working on Windows?Is there anybody know that how can i fix errors?
Are you running for the first time?
Yes
I disagree
Tech jobs will shift
But it will take most current ones over
hey guys
about AI... new opportunities are coming...
and the AI is there to help us (humans) to achieve better results

does someone know java language ?
public class Sumofdigit {
public static void main(String[] args){
int value =1234;
int sumOfDigits = 0;
while(true){
sumOfDigits =value%10;
value = value/10;
if(value<10){
break;
}
}
sumOfDigits=sumOfDigits+value;
System.out.println("sum of digits is :"+ sumOfDigits);
}
}
can you explain that what is happening?
Yes, me
can you explain what is going on with code/
?
step by step and where use we this thing?
Yes
he is doing a sum of two integers and is using a while repetition procedure
Y
what does this loop mean, while I had this sum happening, ok it prints
and it still puts an if , it means if that integer is greater than that number it prints what is there
if not, it prints the other part
if the purpose of this code is calculating the sum of digits in value then i think it will not work
the first line in the loop has to be sum += value%10
the third line if (value<0) not < 10
and remove the line before the print statement
the value can't become less than 0 through division, so your code would run forever
0/10 = 0
you wouldn't need to change the code after you change the sum to += value%10, it would work. However, you'd have a useless operation remaning, which is sumOfDigits=sumOfDigits+value;, because the value would be 0
yea you're right so it is if( value <= 0)
first iteration : sum =4 value =123
3rd: sum = 4+3 value = 12
4th: sum = 4+3+2 value = 1
5th : sum =4+3+2+1 value = 0
since value becomes 0 we will reach break statement and stop the loop
and print sum which is 10
without 'if' statement:
while (value != 0) {
...
}
a = 'Play'
user_input = input('type play to play: ').capitalize()
while user_input == a:
intro = 'this is a program that repeats a word how many times you want it to be repeated.'
print(intro)
time.sleep(1)
word = input('enter your word: ')
number = int(input('enter your number: '))
for i in range(number):
print(word, i)
b = 'Quit'
user_input2 = input('''type "Quit" to quit the program''')
if user_input2 == b:
break ```
hey guys Please help me out with this one. Basically i wrote a program that takes a word from the user and repeats it the times user desires it to repeat. The problem however is that after each iteration of the loop i want the user to specify if they wanna run the program again or quit but it doesn't seem to work. I have tried many variations of it but none seem to work. Thanks
use function
Wooww that make me feel... strange ! That remember me there are 3 y 🤣 (its not to be bad, just strange to see someone ask those same little question after started programming haha)
nice it is simple code, with a = "Play" is variable with value is "PLay" and user_input with value got by input and you string type will uppercase in first character. And when user_input equal a will print intro and sleep one second and after input word and number , the code with price you word and number of word. and if You type "Quit" programing will exit
What doesn't work?
This code does what I'd expect it to
it's so overcomplicated though
is it solved yet?
to calculate sum of all digits from the given value (in your case, it is 1234) , put the sumOfDigits = sumOfDigits + value; inside the while loop, otherwise the sumOfDigits is updated only once.
The code should also break from the loop whenever the value goes down to zero (not value < 10)
Hello! Is anyone interested in cloud computing and DevOps?
me but now i dont know anything about Devops
What do you want to know about DevOps?
Hi guys. Hope you are well. Is it okay to learn full stack development as a completely beginner? Or should i choose one?
I'm a game developer
@wheat gulch that's good
Fullstack developer here
do you use unreal or unity
Unity
who is using #Yii2 write to me
I think that the variables are not primitive "int" if you want to make a division
HELL NO
Why not?
hi everyone is there a Flutter developer here☺️ ?
not a flutter developer but i know about it
i want to start learning it
shall we do it together
first you need to know about dart
it's more similar to javascript maybe
not c++
additionally it's quite similar with c#
i don't like js at all
but i will try
i thought that competitive programming in cpp would help me
it helps you to power up your problem-solving skills while developing
anyway, Familiarize yourself with Dart! it's the first step.
of course, I did the flutter project when I had no idea about dart.
the code was readable and understandable for me
if it also works on you, it's ok
yeah great
As a programmer , how do you practice speaking about coding or software development issues ? with other engineers / co-workers (if they have empathy or willing to listen) or any other method ?
reading book
i like js and python
how to learn python fast can anyone know best tip?
Hello, anyone currently learn C#?

Hy guys, lets visit to my instagram and make a friend.
Hi guys! Who here lands a job as an Front-end Web Developer in a company? I really want to hear some of your experience with the interviews or the process you've faced to get the job.😅
python is good, I think
Python is definitely the good one for me.
Hello! I'm going to start learning programming soon, any tip or advice that can help me in the process I'll appreciate it. I decide to learn python.
Thanks u in avance!
how to learn python fast, i really want to know...
Find a good YouTube tutorial, but not one of those “learn Python in 10 minutes” videos because they’re just clickbait. Find a good multiple hour long tutorial to follow.
And make sure to practice and study what you’ve learned and try to put it to use.

Hi everyone
Is there anyone here using labview?
Could you explain more please?
Thanks you very much!! I really appreciate it! 🙏🏽.
I'm learning english so understanding all the content of this video will be a little difficult, but it will also help me with learning both things at the same time.
I started with a course in Spanish in YouTube as well, this video is 5 hours long, clearly the video you send is more complete. I found another channel that has 3 videos, one of 10hours, another of 7hours and another one that I don't remember right now how long it is, but in that channel this guy has a backend with phyton and teach how to do it, so I think it is probably good too.
Hello
If you are learning the fundamentals of software development, check out https://www.freecodecamp.org . It has a lot of resources for new programmers in multiple languages. Also, there are full courses on its youtube channel but most are in english.
Thanks to you too 🙏🏻, I have already saved in the browser favorites to see it later!
is anyone currently working remotely abroad as a programmer?
learn the basics, you could watch the suggested youtube video and create projects, but try not to follow a tutorial step by step, use your creativity and try to create something that you need or something useful to you
thats how i learned
Hello guys!
I have been learning Python ,and wanna start learning CSS , any suggestion or recommendations for me plz .

Hi
I looking for mates to create a programming team with some goals.
If you are interested, you can dm me.
Hi!! I'm learning cypress.io and I want to improve about autiomation tests
HI! https://www.w3schools.com is a good place to learn about CSS (and others things related to web)
Hello guys I am so frustrated
Why are you frustrated ?
Hello. I'm a python backend self-taught. At the moment i know django and drf(pretty well), and i have a few pet-projects. I'd like to find a frontend developer(js + one-2 of js frameworks) to do pet projects and study english together
Hi @worthy tide I'm FE 😄
I work as Vue (Nuxtjs), React (Nextjs) developer for FE.
Yeah, It is.
I'm choose also react for my business idea
So I would say so
Feel free to join VC
No, self taught
How about you ?
University ?
i want to back end developer , how can i do
sir guide me , what programing i need to learn
If u want that, I reccomend start learning REST API with ExpressJS to understand the basics and later you can learn SpringBoot or other libraries 😉, maybe serverless using serverless framework and AWS Cloud
👋
hi, is there someone here who knows the back end?
I have been thinking the same thing, practice English speaking about programming , software dev, or even system design issues, But I don't know the technologies you're currently interested with .
To me , I am currently working on Rust project, and have some C/Python experience, other tools / libraries I used are MariaDB database, RabbitMQ message queue, Nginx HTTP server and FastAPI web framework.
Hey Anyone use Formik and Yup in frontend
I have used Formik
But I dont really like it, if you write your own hook, it's gonna be better I would say
Hey, I am a computer science student and also uni-freshman. I am looking for a study partner who can help me in learning programming language such as, c, c++, python or java. We can learn together and enhance our learnings.
Hey, I'm a web developer and I know angular framework.
I know javascript/typescript. I'm gonna start learning about the nextJS which is a react framework. I would be glad if anyone can join me in my journy.
Thank you.
Guys, is it hard to start programming?
There is no definitive answer to that question; it depends on various factors. However, from my perspective, if you have a desire to do something, it's best not to question whether it is difficult or not. Instead, focus on what you can gain by taking action. Just go for it, and you will discover the answers along the way.
i think its always hard to start something. just not overthink it and do it
Thanks!
Just get started
Hi, yes i can join you
anyone here knows a proper documentation to use langchain? to be more specific i am using ZERO_SHOT_REACT_DESCRIPTION for a custom tool
but i cannot find a proper documentation to create the desccriptions for different modes
which language?
python
life=0 while 1: life+=1
an application that uses facial recognition technology to analyze the emotions of a user's face. Based on the detected emotions, the program generates a personalized music playlist that matches the user's mood and feelings
the good idea!
Hello, I want to go to the backend, which language is better to choose?
Js is like necessary so yeah
I thinks maybe is python or java
and c# is he not suitable?
I was thinking of taking either python or c# so I'm still thinking I'll probably take c# and learn python and then I'll choose
python and java popular than C#
Whatever you wish
The most popular programming languages: Python > Java > JS > C# > ...
Source from PYPL
So what's ur point?
the main thing for me is convenience so that I can find my first job easier so that in the future it will be more promising and money)
for programming language tutorials
In my persional opinion. Py, js/ts and java are the easiest to get a job. The support community is very strong. Employment depends on where you live (I live in Southeast Asia)
If you enter a big company. Usually the systems of large companies will be written in old languages such as java, py, C#. As for startup or small, they will program newer languages like golang, nodejs
according to what
I made a news reading website: https://learnengonline.us/news, please check it out and I do tutoring web development, if anyone wanna consult about it, please reach me out.
.
anyone?
When u come back from vacation :
Hello world(printf)
to be honest, I still did not understand your choice, you argue this with the popularity of 2 languages, but where exactly they are used and applied, or they are generally where I need them, I did not hear
Guys, the computer programming language is not main in the computer programming and computer programming is not limited with any language. It is merely a mean to write a program. To write a really nice program you should came up with a good idea, think logically, be able to develop algorithms and have skills in searching any important information
Today one language is in top, tomorrow another. So you should be able to switch quickly
In what sense I agree, but you need to understand that the choice of language is important, you can't just choose C ++ for unity, then you need to learn the language and slow down, the language is important and its choice is especially
probably depends on your goal
If you want fast you could use rust and go, wanna better development nodejs, python maybe go
If you want to start learning scripting rather than developing servers you can use python, ruby, lua, c, c#, c++
i have seen alot vacancies around Ruby Language that is what im learning but seeing at the end or atleast too low in those list make me think about it 😒
Oh, you think which language is more fast. Rust or Go ?
Rust in most cases
Experienced programmer and cyber security enthusiast; if you got questions, just message me. 🤙
good python is awesome language
Popularity is not always good. It implies increased competition. Understand your core values and cultivate a broader perspective within the programming industry.
it depends on your programming experience and your goal...
what languages do you already know?
what is your goal?
let's say you know python, then i would suggest to go with a python web framework if it satisfies your needs... it's not necessary for python to be here, it could be java too with spring boot..... and tons of examples you just need to research a bit...
if your goal is to achieve blazingly fast backends then i would suggest to go with a low level language and a simple web framework...... some examples could be rust and rocket framework, c++ and crowcpp and tons of examples..... but development would definitely be harder in them compared to the frameworks and idea we mentioned and i wouldn't suggest to use this as your only languages/frameworks for the backend unless you just need speed or some parts of your application needs to be blazingly fast
hi everyone, i posted in linkedin about mine app(online calendar services for users and enterprises) created using React Native, if you are interesting about it, click here: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7094382251630587904/
And what level is the c# language?
c# is good for backends....... it has a decent speed...... it has good frameworks like ASP.NET..... it would be easier for u if u already know c# and u r comfy with it......
tbh, u can go with any langauge that is stable, ur comfy with and satisfies ur goal.......
the problem comes when we're stuck in making this decision and not starting
now yeah... i wont suggest to go with php as its market share is going down but that doesnt also means php is dying so soon
May I know if you studied C# before? how long it took for you to learn C#?
help me even though I installed it, it doesn't work

i'm sorry i haven't learnt c# yet but i know decent amount of stuff about the language and .NET as many of my friends use c# and i am just too much online
but if you're learning c# it will depend how much time you will take
if you're familiar with OOP, pointers and have some programming experience then it won't take long
if you're not it might take a while
but learning != mastering
mastering will surely take time
that's what i can say from my programming experience and knowledge about c# and the .NET framework
Honestly, I know C# just for Unity 🤣
haha
Understood, thank you for the advice.
good to hear
.
😁
Hello, any C# programmer who can tell about their experience with the language? I am in the process of learning it, I would like to hear points of view
hahaha true
i tried to move from python -> c/c++ and ngl it was a pain in my a$$
first up all, a fookin hard syntax than python (i was a skid yeah 😂)
and tons of new concepts
memory management, stack heap, c++'s bloated stl and so on
and now i can finally proficiently write c/c++ after giving a lot of time but still this much time isnt enough to learn c++ 😂 (yk what i am talking about)
c is still simple amd i love it due to its simplicity
planning to add some rust to my tech stack so i can fuck c++
💀
@shy glade same
👍 hi
hru
Hi how are you? what does anyone do?
c is not used too much in companies, i see c#, java, python, javascript and other languages
But it was used for os development
Is any language popular in os development?
not too much, but i heard in some podcasts that rust is also used
but c is the core for almost all
Ofcourse
learnig c allows you to take an insane number of paths in programming
for example: if you wanna got to games you should learn c++
and so it goes
have a bunch of possibilities you have learning the most important from c
Yeah c++ is similar to c
yeah, c++ in a simple way to say is just an adding of object driven programming to c
Yep
by the way object driven programming is the most used paradigm
but you can try whatever you want in programming, this is the most satisfying part of this
Yeah
nah C isn't dying
C just isn't being used in companies, well there are some C jobs if you work in embedded / OS Dev.
but
there are a lot of things still written in C and also they need to be maintained, we can't say C is dying
but C isn't the langauge to learn if you want a job except embedded and os dev. jobs
hi new! i am derg
javascript is the future
but other than that then python of course
Guys should I learn website development I mean being full stack developer .Should I go with that way if there is someone in that branch can he/she help me ? I have learnt java,C,python for now.
I started learning JavaScript four months ago. Now I'm starting to study the reaction, if anyone wants to help me, or study together, or maybe discuss some topic, discuss who did what project or is doing for job search
but u still use {} to make dictionary or set
what makes you say that?
i personally wont like to say that a langauge is the future and can just change the world
i have the same opinion as the @shy glade, every language has their strength and weakness, in some scenarios will work and other don't
but there's one language that i don't like, GO hahaha, maybe it's cause the project i've seen isn't organized
Hey guys ! After Python what language should I start , CSS or HTML ??
I recommend html
Okay
assembly
it depends by ur aim
web, embedded and others
always first html -> then css -> then finally javascript
and now you can explore more stuff about web development, this is a quite wild field
Depends on what you wanna do next
If you wanna focus on websites then start learning html and css
If you wanna focus more on games or apps start learning c++ or c
Yhea I recommend assembly
Hey developers
hello
hi everyone, i wanna learn more about c#
ayee what field r u into from C# game development?
go for html first then css itll be much easier for u to learn css then
make sure u understand the parent and child element concepts
Meh, He should start first learn the concept of web development,how designs and objects work in programming,then he should learn html,css,js (because every big framework require these to make a great webapp) and aftre all of that (after he master them) , it should be easy for him to create a whole app system
anyone from cybersecurity domain?
i am passionate about cyber security
i want to do a project in cybersecurity like intrution detection system
Hello to everyone, how are you?
Python or java
i decided to do the web application of ids like (have i pwned?)
Can anyone help me?
i would recommend python, because you mentioned an intrusion detection system, if you're planning to use image recognition, you can integrate it easily with python's web frameworks, such as django and flask
i dont have much experience with java tho, but im quite the python connoisseur
languages are like tools, so first decide what you wanna do and learn the language required for it.
Anyone looking for a partner here to practice English with?
Yes i am
i agree, dont stress too much on your very first programming language
Can you recommend me the best language for coding please
Nah, He learned Python and now he was asking which language should I learn now, And without any purpose or a goal why just randomly pick a language and start learning it? Instead, build some projects using Python and apply what you have learned so far, But if you are just getting started with programming, you should learn the basics first and not just pick random programming languages and start learning them. And let's be honest learning multiple programming languages won't make you a better programmer if you are not good at problem-solving. That's my pov I might be wrong cause I'm also learning I'm not an expert.
yup, yours is better worded and more specific, i would also advise the same thing, but there are people who stressed too much about their first programming language, which wont make them start learning anyways, that was my concern, but since he already learned python, then yes, make more projects is the way to go and knowing what you want to build is also important
?
Better is to explain me how it works, Instead of putting these smiles.
Because I know nothing about programming
You know if you are a complete beginner then this course might be a good choice for you https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhQjrBD2T380F_inVRXMIHCqLaNUd7bN4 .
Thanks.
Np, Just don't get stuck in tutorial hell, Best of luck.
Hii what are you learning?
Dm if you want to have chat
how about golang? I'm just start to learn it
I have already using java in my daily work for about 7 years
@inland marlin
Yoo I just learnt java and spring will be making project with react and spring boot
good luck to you
Hello world
Iam a junior full stake developer
Working on an education website
And I am java programmer too
Nice to meet you guys
I have 39 yoe in each field of programming. Ask ur questions, guys
Hello!
Wow! That's amazing! What tech do you use?
If there is anyone who can hack facebook accounts, please message me

Guys, I need some advice for my website what features should i added
https://ztools.vercel.app
hi. I would recommend to fix this one, so each time you re-enter 'generate' button, it would replace the already generated one, instead of concatenating them
html and css
Some pages are empty, so remove that page from menu.
Hi guys,this is lingluo as a java developer from China,and you guys?
hi guys
come from China too
@uncut coyote nice
r u in other country?
in china
the best backend
no doubts
unlike php garbage
one of things my heart desires but can not allow itself to study thoroughly
no, php > nodejs
javascript means "the best", literally
||i mean the hugest mess, buut, the best, mhm||
Yeah if you wanna use unity game engine
obviously C#
yes
depends if u r into complex maths and finding solutions for things then AI and ML
frontend devs, see what super useful thing I found : https://tiptap.dev/
@foggy kite what's about other?
if you want to suffer go for full stack developer
Hy guys, rate my personal web https://dedeard.my.id
I like the UI
idk about other not in my field
very good UI
@foggy kite iam interested in Ai and Ml but my maths is weak
what framework are u using for it
Not much
Thnkss.
I use next js
Who need help in frontend,backend, iam here ..
Can i ask about ffmpeg. (Video processing)
I started to learn about videos, pictures yesterday so I don't know very much about them unfortunately: (
Ohh. Okk
What language u use.
Js,html,css,node.js,express.js,mysql,APIs,java
Regarding to languages so they are js and java 🙂
I was a java programmer for 1 year, but I left it for some months and forgot many things in it , and started js and java again from 2 months
I start learn java (spring) for 6 month. And it so hard.
Java is a strong language
then that’s unfortunately because u have to use lots of maths i suggest try to improve your mathematic so u could understand the complex of how machine works and learn ..etc also maybe u might be the one that found out how exactly our ANN works
@foggy kite ok thanks I will try
welcome pls don’t give up when it’s tough
Anyone Tell some ids projects for college
i made
Yes, it is.
what u made
You want to learn how to javascript ?
I want to learn JavaScript and React
go with programming with harry and in hindi with subtitles its code with harry both the channels belong to same guy but in programming with harry the guy teaches in english
