Looks like platform level bug, switch to JSON editor then for proxy value add "proxyConfig": { "useApifyProxy": false } and make sure that naming for proxy config as in the actor input. Error you experienced is about having value defined for proxy settings, input form fails to provide it (again looks like platform bug, actor allows it but input validation does not)

Answer from support: "It’s intentional. We don’t want people to use generic scrapers without proxy. It should have been long time ago, but was done only with the last update to Crawlee"
