What are the weaknesses of the Meganewbie?

  • Slow and boring PvE (Not for me, but yes for most players)
  • Low variations, Meganewbies builds must be always the same, same support units, same mutations and same upgrades
  • Unfair counters, specially Fighters with bite and Mass taunt
To solve all the problems, it would be necessary to think of something that addresses the extreme simplicity of using it in PvE, that gives players the opportunity to adapt their 'Meganewbie' to what they see as most convenient, and that fixes its unfair counters. Well, here is my solution:

"Meganewbie points": Different level of newbies can Merge into the Meganewbie, so the idea is to give the MN some passives, abilities or just extra stats depending on how much levels of newbies merge into him (For example, if the MN is formed with three level 5 newbies and two level 2 newbies, it would have a total power of 19 MN Points) Developers can work with his own ideas but I like to add some of them who I think are fun, variety, fair to fight and adaptative to PvE

0 Points "Meganewbie" (Base MN): All Newbies merge into a giant Meganewbie, It's health and damage is half of all merged newbies total stats
20 Points "Beast taunt" (Normally you get this at floor 4): Meganewbie can taunt nearby enemies for 3 seconds every 25 seconds (Fits perfectly if you just want a support MN for PvE or King of the hill)
50 points Inmortal blood" (At this point you need more Newbies and some of them at least at lvl 2): Passive: Meganewbie get 1% Attack speed, Damage and Damage reduction for every 5% health missing
90 points "Meteor-Fist"(Designed to be obtained at the end of floors 8-9): Meganewbie strikes the ground forcefully, stunning in a large radius around it and dealing 1500 magic damage, 30 seconds cooldown
140 points "Face to face"(At this point the Meganewbie should be you main unit): Meganewbie is inmune to non-direct damage and gain a 50% tolerance (Such as bees, Fighters fury, Thorn armor etc...)
200 points "Despot's son"(You need 40 lvl 5 newbies for this, usually a maxed pure Meganewbie) Meganewbie can summon variety of PvE enemies every 15 seconds

With this ideas you can Made variety on MN like magic damage, high cooldown, or just pure summon power, also improves the PvE

Sounds a bit too strong all in all. It's just a bunch of free power, if you have a lot of Newbies, and needless power nerf from only gaining half the stats, if you only have a few Newbies.
