Recently I have noticed some common symbols are blocked in username changing, although they are okay when creating accounts. I don't see the point in having 2 different filters, and I would like to use more letters/symbols in my username other than A-Z and space.
In the attachments you can see how both the infinity symbol and dash are allowed when creating accounts normally but not when changing your name. It's very annoying so I would like to suggest replacing the username changer filter with the one used in account creation.
