Advanced Mode can only be unlocked when you reach level 20, the lobbies don't have any 19- lvl players in it, it can be toggled on and off, and it gives players who play it 20% more exp (and maybe some other benefits). This is a win-win situation where the newbies can get more kills and wins without the advanced players demolishing them, and the advanced players get bonuses!
