#How to get a working Version of the Dev Build to play with friends?

Hi, im brand new to modding and honestly anxious. I know the risk of being banned is low, but im wondering if anyone has a Tutorial to get the dev server (or just a private server) so I can do 2v8 and other fun custom shenanigans with some friends of mine? I wanted to follow the tutorial on here, but it seems the website no longer functions. Im kinda afraid to just try myself because I really dont want to risk a dead by daylight ban as ive spent quite a bit of cash on dlc and the such :p

use the internet archive to access the a snapshot of the mod by daylight website, and you'll find there everything you need to get the dev build working

There is zero reason to use the Wayback Machine

You're just using a slower version when you can find everything you need on the Github page, rather than use a slow archived version of the website

I don't know, I used the website and I liked it, so I stayed on it. The 2 extra seconds don't rip my head off.

Everyone needs the dev server?

Does it work peer to peer this way? Because I always connected everyone to my server, they didn't need to set it up

it would be peer to peer, dev build came out before they were using dedicated servers i believe
